Beijing, May 10 (IANS) China Thursday opened a museum to showcase its counter-espionage history.
The museum dedicated to China's national security efforts was opened in Xibaipo, a Hebei province village that was temporary headquarters of the Communist Party of China Central Committee during 1947-48.
The museum features exhibits on the CPC's intelligence activities during the civil war against Kuomintang troops, as well as its counter-espionage achievements after the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, reported Xinhua.
