Ramallah, May 8 (Xinhua-ANI): Israeli forces on Tuesday seized computers and cameras from the office of a Palestinian organization that organizes public activities against Jewish settlement activities, Palestinian witnesses said.
The soldiers smashed the doors of the Public Campaign against Settlements and Wall's headquarters in the West Bank city of Ramallah, seized the equipment and left. The incident took place before the workday started.
The Campaign organizes demonstrations against the expansion of the settlements and the construction of the separation barrier across the occupied West Bank.
In 2010, the Israeli army raided the office and arrested several peace activists of the anti-settlement group.
Also in the West Bank, Israeli troops detained 12 Palestinians during overnight raids in several towns and villages, security sources said.
Israel said the raids were part of a routine clampdown on suspected Palestinian activists who planned attacks against the Jewish state. (Xinhua-ANI)
