Lahore, Tue, 08 May 2012 ANI

Lahore, May 8 (ANI): Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Sharat Sabharwal has said the Interior Ministries of India and Pakistan have agreed to a revised visa agreement, which will be signed by the end of the month.

"It is our hope that this agreement will be signed by the end of the month when the countries interior/home secretaries meet," The News quoted Sabharwal, as saying.

Sabharwal added that the revised agreement would provide liberalised provisions for businessmen.

"We are issuing visas much faster to the business community over the last few months," he said.

Sabharwal said India had simplified its own regulations too, which will be available on the High Commissions website in the next few days. (ANI)
