Arab League Secretary-General to visit China

Beijing, May 3(Xinhua-ANI): The secretary-general of the League of Arab States, Nabil Elaraby, will visit China from May 4 to 9, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said Thursday.
Liu said Vice President Xi Jinping and Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will meet with Elaraby respectively during his visit.
Both sides will discuss methods for deepening strategic China-Arab relations, as well as conduct preparatory work for the upcoming Fifth Ministerial Meeting of China-Arab Cooperation Forum, Liu said.
The two sides will also exchange views on common concerns and international and regional issues, including the Syrian issue, Liu said. (Xinhua-ANI)
