Three killed, 20 hurt in Pakistan bombing

Islamabad, April 29 (IANS) At least three people were killed and 20 others injured Sunday in a car bombing in Pakistan's northwest tribal area, a media report said.

 

A van laden with explosives was detonated by a remote-controlled device near a bus stand in Jamrud area of Khyber Agency bordering Afghanistan, Xinhua reported citing local media.

 

Two people were killed on the spot while another died at a hospital.

 

Security forces cordoned off the area, but no suspects could be arrested.

 

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
