Swift to play Joni Mitchell?

Los Angeles, April 22 (IANS) Singer Taylor Swift is in talks to portray iconic singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell in the big screen adaptation of Sheila Weller's book "Girls Like Us".
The story follows the careers of Mitchell and her peers Carly Simon and Carole King, reports dailystar.co.uk.
Actress Alison Pill has reportedly auditioned for the part of King.
John Sayles is set to direct and production is expected to begin later this year.
