Tehran, April 4 (IANS) Iran has expressed hope of results emerging from the next round of nuclear talks between the country and the world powers, Mehr news agency reported.
"I think the next round of talks would be better than the past," Xinhua quoted Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi telling reporters Wednesday on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting.
The last round of talks in Istanbul in January 2011 failed to yield results.
Earlier reports indicated the new round of talks between Iran and the five permanent members of UN Security Council plus Germany (P5+1) would most probably take place April 13-14, though the venue had not been decided.
The resumption of negotiations is expected to occur following an over a year-long deadlock over talks.
