Beijing, March 24 (ANI): The UN nadArab League's joint envoy on Syria Kofi Annan is likely to visit China between March 27 and 28 at the invitation of the Chinese Government.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hong Lei said Annan will call on foreign ministry officials to discuss their views on the Syrian conflict, Xinhua reports.
Lei said China hopes to discuss solution to the Syrian crisis during Annan's visit and work with him to play a constructive role in ending the conflict in a fair, peaceful and appropriate manner. (ANI)
