London, Feb 23 (ANI): Eight more bodies have reportedly been found in the wreck of the cruise ship Costa Concordia that ran aground off the Italian coast last month.
The body of a five-year-old girl, believed to be Dyana Arlotti, is among those, which have been recovered.
Arlotti is the youngest victim of the Costa Concordia disaster that took place on January 13 after the luxury cruise ship foundered off the Tuscan coast.
Earlier the search team said that 32 people had died in the disaster, but so far only 17 bodies have been found.
According to The Daily Mail, authorities said difficult weather conditions were hampering workers attempting to recover the bodies and it was unclear how long the work would take.
Meanwhile, the ship's captain, Francesco Schettino, has been blamed for the accident, which occurred when he took the ship close to the shore of the island of Giglio to perform a display manoeuvre known as a 'salute'.
Schettino, who is under house arrest, faces charges of multiple manslaughter, causing an accident and abandoning ship before the evacuation of all of those on board was complete.
A pre trial hearing is due to begin on March 3. (ANI)
