Melbourne, Feb 20(ANI): Australian politician and Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu will arrive on a six day trade mission to India.
The six- day mission includes representatives from over 220 companies and organizations who will visit Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
Bailleu said he is keen to boost Victoria's education business with India after it suffered a decline due to safety issues, visa changes and the high Australian dollar, The Herald Sun reports.
Baillieu had earlier admitted that he did not have meetings with senior Indian ministers fully booked just five days before he led the state's biggest trade mission to India.
"The processes are in place (to meet with ministers) but dealing with the Indian Government requires ongoing relationships and they are in the middle of a number of state elections and parliamentary sittings," Baillieu had said. (ANI)
