Kuala Lumpur, Jan 13 (ANI): A teenager in Malaysia, who was raped by her Pakistani stepfather when she was 15, is said to have sent an SMS to the prosecutor in court to tell him she remained traumatised by the incident.
The woman sent the message as a Sessions Court sentenced her stepfather to 17 years in jail, and ordered him to be whipped three times for three counts of rape, the Star Online reported.
The man was charged with raping her at the family's home in Brickfields between August 31 and September 21, 2006.
Her mother, who came to court, also told the judge that she was always crying and did not talk much since the incident. (ANI)
