Extra-marital activities among women on the rise in UK

London, Jan 11 (ANI): A new Manchester Metropolitan University research has revealed that more than 15 per cent of women indulge in extra-marital activities.

The study suggests that the increase is due to a rise in opportunities for women to misbehave, including jobs outside the home, financial independence, mobile phones, internet chat rooms and email, reports the Sun.

Bored with her humdrum married life, 44-year-old Caroline Biscoe, who had been married to 53-year-old David for ten years, had an affair with her gardener.

Caroline started spending time with the gardener in absence of David.

Though they didn't have sex but the steamy encounter left Caroline wanting more so she started looking for someone else to have fun with.

After three months Caroline met another man called Raoul, who was ten years younger than her, at the bar. Their affairs Raoul lasted for eight months.

When David came to know of her affair, she return on her best behaviour for two years trying to regain his trust.

But her habit of straying resurfaced when she spotted a newspaper story about a dating website for married people. Her curiosity got the better of her and she signed up.

Then Caroline's internet searches for dating websites led her to something much more naughty - a website promising high-class orgies in secret locations across London.

Soon email chat turned to saucy text banter with a doctor called James and within weeks Caroline found herself tied to the bedposts in a hotel room.

After she realised she would never be able to stay faithful to David, she left him and moved to Oval, South London, where she now works for a charity.

Not the end, Caroline has recently started a relationship with an accountant 13 years her junior. (ANI)
