Islamabad, Dec 30 (ANI): Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has refused to appear before any commission set up to investigate the murders of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti.
During a TV channel interview, Musharraf said the president was not supposed to provide security to anyone.
"It was not my responsibility to provide security to Benazir, no one asked her to come out of the sunroof of her vehicle," the Daily Times quoted him, as saying.
Musharraf said he felt "bad when the security agencies are accused of involvement in Benazir's murder."
"Only people like Jahangir Badr wrongly accused me of the murder," he added.
Replying to a question on tribal leader Akbar Bugti's murder, Musharraf said: "The Frontier Constabulary has been established to defend the country, but Bugti was fighting with it in the mountains." (ANI)
