New York, Nov 25 (ANI): US President Barack Obama, who was asked whether he thought he could beat Sarah Palin in the 2012 election, said he isn't thinking about the Tea Party darling these days.
"I don't speculate on what's going to happen two years from now," The New York Daily News quoted Obama as saying on "Good Morning America" Wednesday.
"What I'm saying is I don't think about Sarah Palin," he said.
Last week, Palin said in the same show that she thought she could beat Obama.I believe I could," Palin said.
Obama said he is more focused on being "the best possible President."
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential nominee in 2008 has not formally said she will make a White House run in 2012.
A survey released Monday showed that Obama has an 8pc edge over Palin if the election were held now, though 49pc said the President did not deserve a second term. (ANI)
