London, Nov 13 (ANI): Japan has a new pop sensation and she can perform anywhere and everywhere, reason for her being so accommodating - she is a hologram.
Hatsune Miku has played at concerts and she has already claimed chart success with a string of top-selling singles in her native country, the Sun reported.
The career of the fantasy star echoes that of S1m0ne, the digital pop star created by her manager played by Al Pacino in the film of the same name.
Her creators - Japanese technology firm Crypton Future Media - have made a digital avatar so her followers can get her performing any song of their choosing on their computer.
Miku's enchanting voice, created from the samples of actress Saki Fujita, is generated using actors' voices, putting them through Yamaha's Vocaloid software.
She has already gone on tour in Singapore and staged her first concert in 2009. (ANI)
