Klang (Malaysia), Nov.2 (ANI): Malaysian tour agents are crying foul over Air India's termination of its Kuala Lumpur-Chennai route.
The management of the tour companies said the airline had informed them on Friday that the route would be cancelled from its itinerary from yesterday.
Tour agency operator S. Gandhi said Air India's move to cancel the route was unfair to Malaysian tour agents.
"It is peak season now. Cancelling the route at such short notice is an arbitrary move that will affect us adversely," The Star quoted him, as saying.
He added it was unfair for the passengers to be forced to travel on Air India Express.
Another tour agent K. P. Samy said the airline should have given sufficient notice before cancelling the route.
Air India said it was working to restore the route. (ANI)
