New York, Oct 10 (ANI): Governor of New York David Paterson praised Rev. Al Sharpton for "doing for justice what Tiger Woods did for cocktail waitresses" during a birthday party for the civil rights leader in Harlem.
Sharpton said he appreciated the comments but added, "I don't know how Tiger feels about it," reports the New York Daily News.
"Don't worry governor, I got your back if Tiger comes to Harlem looking for you," replied Sharpton.
The wisecrack came a week after Paterson admitted he's pondering over his next profession, though he said he's leaning toward helping those he hurt as governor.
"I'd like to go back and advocate for some of the areas that I wasn't able to service well because of the economic crisis as governor," he said, referring to HIV patients, the disabled and schoolchildren. (ANI)
