London, Sep 18 (ANI): A Brit man's heart-thumping stunt of spending 121 days with few of the most venomous snakes in a locked room has been rejected by Guinness World Records, as he didn't share a bathtub with them.

David Jones, 45, spent approximately four months with 27 puff adders, two black mambas, two green mambas, seven boomslang and three cobras.

He lived, slept and ate in the 13ft x 16ft den hoping to become a world-renowned Snake Man.

However, his dreams were shattered by Guinness World Records, which says it only accepts attempts for 'Most rattlesnakes, bathtub sitting'.

Carpenter David, from Sussex, yesterday admitted he was gutted at the snub, but added he had no interest in bathtubs.

"Doing this is a lifelong dream for me," the Sun quoted David as saying when he passed the 114-day milestone marking the longest time that anyone had spent locked in a room with venomous snakes.

The dad of one completed the challenge without a single bite last month in Johannesburg, South Africa.

On the contrary, Guinness spokesperson, Sara Wilcox said that they wanted to discourage the animal endurance feats saying that snakes are solitary animals. (ANI)
