Lahore, June 30 (ANI): Pakistan Interior Ministry has warned that extremists may target Punjab Governor Salmaan Taseer.
In a letter to the Punjab government, the Interior Ministry has warned that terrorists may attack important installations and personalities in the province.
The letter also asked the provincial government to review its security measures in view of the terror threat.
"Intelligence should be enhanced as soon as possible," The Daily Times quoted the letter, as saying.
It also said that the Punjab governor's movements should be kept discreet to avoid any untoward incident.(ANI)
