Karachi, June 25 (ANI): A top Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander has been arrested from the Baldia Town locality here.
The commander, who has been identified as Zafar Hussain, hails from Swat, and is said to have carried out various terror attacks across the country in the recent past.
According to reports, acting on an intelligence tip-off, police officials raided a house in Baldia Town and apprehended Zafar.
Police also recovered a pistol from Zafar, The Daily Times reports.
Baldia Town police has registered a case against him and took him to an undisclosed location for further interrogation. (ANI)
