Austrian kidnap girl pens autobiography

London , Thu, 24 Jun 2010 ANI

London, June 24 (ANI): An Austrian girl is penning a book describing her eight years in an underground dungeon at the mercy of a pervert.

A spokesman for Natascha Kampusch, 22, has confirmed that the autobiography - called 3,096 Days - will be published in September.

Natascha was abducted on her way to school in Vienna when she was 10-years-old in 1998, reports the Sun.

She was held prisoner until she managed to escape from Wolfgang Priklopil more than eight years later.

She is expected to use the book to tackle claims that there was a second kidnapper involved in her kidnapping, which she has always denied.

The allegation led to the re-opening of the case in early 2010.

Natascha is also expected to talk about her mother's alleged role in her kidnap and her own bizarre relationship with the man who held kept her captive.

The 220-page book, to be published by German publishers List Verlag, will go on sale on September 8. (ANI)
