Petalingjaya (Malyasia) June 20 (ANI): Media reports about the Kek Lok Si and Batu Caves temples being targeted by terrorists, has not deterred the number of tourists visiting these spots.

"I believe the police will do their job well and monitor the area," The Star quoted salesman Chan Yoong Wei, a tourist from Ipoh, as saying.

"The number of visitors had been the same over the past few days", laimed Sri Subramaniar Swamy Devasthanam temple chairman Datuk R. Nadarajah.

On Friday, the newspapers had highlighted that various militant outfits like al-Qaeda and the Jemaah Islamiah linked to Indonesian Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir planned to destroy the temples.

The tourists however have expressed their confidence about the police keeping the situation. (ANI)
