Kuala Lumpur, Jun 19 (ANI): The Malaysian-Indian missing two-year-old Nisha Chandramohan's parents have promised not to take any action if their daughter, who went missing on June 4, was returned to them safely.

Nisha's mother Wong Lai Lan, 21, said they would be thankful for the return of their daughter and would not take any form of action.

"We will only be thankful to them for taking care of her all this while and not take any action because my daughter is not healthy like other children," The Star quoted Wong, as saying.

"Nisha needs to take medication for epilepsy," Wong told reporters after RHB Bank and the Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) helped her in distributing Nisha's posters here on Friday.

Foundation chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye hoped the public would assist the parents in looking for Nisha and provide the police with information.

Meanwhile, RHB Bank, with the co-operation from MCPF, distributed 2,700 posters of Nisha in Kuala Lumpur, Port Klang and Pahang.

Bank chairman Tan Sri Azlan Zainal said that since yesterday, the bank had started displaying Nisha's photo on the screen of their ATM machines at all its branches in the country.

"We hope that through the technology and initiative, more people will be aware and assist the parents in finding the child. With more than 1,800 ATM machines, and help from the public, the media and MCPF, Nisha can be found soon," he said.

Nisha went missing on June 4 and was last seen at her home in Taman Bukit Bendera, Mentakab, Pahang before her 54-year-old grandaunt, who suffers from mental illness, took her out for a walk. (ANI)
