Kuala Lumpur, Apr 3 (ANI): Dalam Botol, Malaysia's first mainstream gay movie, will hit the theatres at the end of this year.

Directed by debutante Khir Rahman, the controversial film's original title was Anu Dalam Botol. The movie is about the relationship between a homosexual couple which ends up tragically, reports New Straits Times Online.

The cast of the movie is young and new. Azharudin Ramli and Saiful Redzuan Abu Bakar have played the lead roles in the movie.

Producer Raja Azmi said a number of scenes were altered to bring out the detailed intimacy of the couple on-screen.

Azmi also revealed that they did shoot some "hot scenes" which would not be available for viewing in the country.

"The film is based on a true story and I want the audience to watch and realise the implication of making one false move," Azmi said. (ANI)
