Islamabad, Apr.9 (ANI): Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani would be sending a 'special gift' to cricketer Shoaib Malik and Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza on their wedding, which is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on April 15.
The gift would be presented to the sports couple by Pakistan's Population and Welfare Minister Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan.
"I am going to Hyderabad on April 14 to participate in this grand celebrity wedding and I will deliver the Prime Minister's special gift to the couple," The Daily Times quoted Awan, as saying.
Awan said many Pakistani members of parliament (MP) have shown interest in attending the high profile wedding, and a parliamentary delegation may accompany her to India.
"I can take a parliamentary delegation to this wedding but I am not in favour of taking many people along because it will be a burden on the hosts in Hyderabad," she said.
Pakistan Sports Minister Mir Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani is also likely to attend the ceremony in Hyderabad.
Awan said she would also host a reception in honour of Sania in Sialkot, Shoaib's hometown. (ANI)
