Melbourne, March 4 (ANI): A cop who lost her job after begging co-workers for sex suffered a setback when she lost her unfair dismissal claim.
Soon after her posting Jessica Parfrey proposed to her supervisor to have an affair with her because "everyone knows you're supposed to fall in love with your buddy".
A month later when he refused her offer, she told him: "Can't we just f***? I am a 19-year-old girl, what is wrong with you?"
The Industrial Relations Commission in Sydney was told that Parfrey also offered an officer oral sex in a pub toilet and parking lot and later told another, I know you want me", reports News.com.au.
Both men turned her down.
She tried calling another colleague 12 times, left six text messages and even offered to help him study for his police exams by stripping off an item of clothing for every question he answered correctly. He refused.
Parfrey was sacked from the police in September 2007, five months into her probation.
Assistant Commissioner Michael Corboy told her in a letter that her behaviour was "entirely inconsistent" with the conduct expected of a police officer.
But Parfrey claimed her dismissal was not fair, arguing that a considerable part of the alleged sexual harassment took place outside the workplace during drinks with colleagues.
However, John Grayson, deputy president of the Industrial Relations Commission, refused to reinstate her.
Parfrey's lawyer, Stuart Grey, said she may appeal against the decision. (ANI)
