Kuala Lumpur, March 4 (ANI): Malaysian cops have busted a prostitution racket in Klang that was being run in the name of a spa.
The spa, which was inside a hotel, had numerous secret chambers accessible only through a hidden passage.
The federal anti-vice and gaming division, which raided the venue on Tuesday night, found some nude women with men in these secret rooms, reports the Star Online.
Twenty-three foreign women and three locals were taken into custody for involvement in prostitution. The foreign women are believed to belong to Indonesia, China and Vietnam.
According to Klang district police chief Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop, 15 customers were also arrested but released after their statements were recorded.
Cash bills, workers' duty records and 16 condoms were also seized from the outlet.
Talking about the raid at a press conference, ACP Mohamad said customers were charged between RM140 and RM180 for the "services".
He revealed that all the women, aged between 18 and 40, and 10 workers had been remanded for further questioning.
He added that some of the foreign women did not have valid travel documents while some others lacked work permits.
Police has raided the spa outlet at least three times since last year. (ANI)
