London, Feb.17 (ANI)A Brit-Indian stockbroker jumped 80 feet to his death from a fashionable roof-top restaurant over fears of losing his job after being accused of an internet prank.
Anjool Malde jumped from the terrace of Coq d'Argent in the City of London just before his 25th birthday.
In one last gesture, the Oxford graduate toasted himself with champagne and leapt from the eighth storey still clutching the glass.
Two days earlier, the Deutsche Bank employee was interviewed by bosses after a joke message, "I'm hot, I'm hot", appeared on a client company's careers website. It appeared as if the words had been posted by a worker there who made an official complaint.
A probe was launched and it was discovered Malde's computer had been used to send the messages, City of London Coroner's Court heard.
He was interviewed by three senior executives who sent him home and confiscated his computer pending further inquiries. (ANI)
