London, Feb 2 (ANI): A piece of carpet that was in Adolf Hitler's Berlin bunker has been found in a Yorkshire museum.
The piece had been taken from the underground lair in 1945 by the Green Howards infantry regiment.
Staff at the regimental museum in Richmond, North Yorks discovered it an envelope as they were sorting through archive rooms.
The patch has yellow flowers and blue leaves on a fawn background.
"We were surprised at how domestic the pattern is - certainly a contrast to images we have of the bunker," the Sun quoted museum director Lynda Powell as saying. (ANI)
