London, Jan 19 (ANI): Prince William's barbecue was gatecrashed by a DJ who roamed around the premises with a loaf as he kept broadcasting his radio show.
DJ Warwick Slow carried on the prank for 15 minutes before security men nabbed him and he was handed over to the police.
The Prince, 27, was in Wellington as part of his New Zealand tour.
Local dignitary Sir Paul Reeves, 77, and numerous wellwishers greeted William, before he opened the new Supreme Court building.
He then headed for his barbecue at the official Wellington home of Prime Minister John Key, 48.
"It was only when he got inside the basement that he was rumbled and grabbed," the Daily Star quoted Iain Stables, Warwick's boss at Radio X105, as saying.
Stables said: "It's extraordinary he lasted so long without being caught because everyone else was dressed smartly." (ANI)
