Washington, Jan. 14 (ANI): Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has said that there is nothing more important in her life than her relationship with God.
"There is nothing more important in my life than my relationship with God and my faith and in this past year especially-past year and a half-I have been so driven to my knees to pray for his guidance, for his wisdom, for his grace and for his strength," she said in an interview with Fox News.
Palin went on to ask Americans to seek the guidance of god, who, according to her, allowed the US to become the greatest nation on earth.
"And I'm never going to tell anybody else how to live, I'm never going to preach to anybody else and tell them you must do that. But I sure would like to see more Americans give it a try and seek the guidance that our Founding Fathers sought and were able to [then] craft documents that allowed America to become the greatest, strongest, healthiest, most prosperous nation on earth," she said.
Talking about her political aspiration, Palin said while she'd be happy to go back and raise a healthy family in Alaska, she is "willing to sacrifice" life's comforts "in order to serve."
"I would be perfectly happy to go back to Wasilla, Alaska, with my five children and my grandson and raise a happy, healthy family loving our great outdoors. But, if I believe that in some capacity I can help this great nation, I'm going to be willing to sacrifice and to change some things in my lifestyle in order to, in order to serve," she said. (ANI)
