New York, Jan 6 (ANI): South Carolina First Lady Jenny Sanford has written a book about her husband, Gov. Mark Sanford, and his affair.
Jenny has penned the tome 'Staying True' in response to Mark's extramarital affair with an Argentine woman.
According to the book's publisher, Ballantine Books, a division of Random House Inc, the memoir will 'recall her shock and anguish upon discovering that her husband was having an affair ... and the further pain when she learned - just a day ahead of most Americans - that he had not ended the affair when she believed he had.'
Furthermore, Jenny - who filed for divorce from her Love Gov last month - will describe "the many ways that the seductions of power can drive apart even the most committed couples."
She also plans to spill on what happened behind the scenes of the scandal.
According to a synopsis of the book - currently posted on the publisher's Web site - the mom of four's memoir "reveals the private ordeal behind her very public betrayal - and offers inspiration for anyone struggling to keep faith during life's most trying times."
The tell-all will hit stores on Feb. 5, reports the New York Daily News. (ANI)
