London, Dec 10 (ANI): Lady Helen Taylor has bid adieu to her over a decade-old association with Armani, saying she is glad to get rid of the "uniform".
The Queen's cousin and former socialite, 45, had to strictly wear clothes by the Italian designer for all public engagements as part of her paid role as brand ambassador.
But now, her contract with the brand has come to an end, and the mother of four is gladly relieved.
"There's a limit to how many navy jackets and white shirts you can wear in a year. It worked really well for 10 years and it was great not having to choose. But it came to a natural end and I've moved on," the Daily Express quoted her as telling The Lady magazine.
Despite Lady Helen's success, the daughter of the Duke Of Kent, reveals that her teachers at exclusive public school Gordonstoun doubted her abilities.
She claims they told her she would be most suited to "stacking shelves at Waitrose". (ANI)
