Quetta, Dec.8 (ANI) : Blaming the United States for the creating anarchy in the country, Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) chief Syed Munawar Hassan has said that America is working to declare Pakistan's nuclear establishments unsafe.

Replying to questions during a press conference, Hassan said Washington was trying to destabilise Pakistan through the notorious private security firm, Blackwater.

"Though officials are denying reports about presence of Blackwater in Pakistan but there are many evidences of presence of this notorious organisation," Hassan said.

Terming the US as a 'big terrorist', he said America was working under a well-planned strategy to destabilise the country and create chaos to mislead the international community that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal was under a severe threat from the extremists.

Hassan claimed that Blackwater had provided security cover to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her recent Pakistan visit.

Responding to a query about Balochistan, the JI chief blamed the government for the current chaos in the provision, but added that India's involvement cannot be ruled out.

"Five military operations have been carried out in Balochistan and its people have been kept oppressed. The complaints of Baloch people are genuine which should be solved forthwith," Hassan said. (ANI)
