Sydney, Oct 14(ANI): A recent survey of over 6,000 international students in Australia has revealed that Sydney and Melbourne are the most unfriendly and unsafe cities to live in.
Though both the cities were prized for their busy, bustling and multicultural vibes, students said the cities were poor on safety and hospitality.
Other cities ranked as most dangerous and unfriendly included Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide.
Taking a note of the survey, IDP Education (an international student recruiter) chief executive Tony Pollock said cities hoping to attract international students should play up their strengths.
"It is hard to argue with a finding that says Sydney and Melbourne have the entertainment and big-city attractiveness.
But, a city with a reputation for being affordable, clean, quiet or green can be just as appealing to families overseas," The Daily Telegraph quoted Pollock, as saying. (ANI)
