Islamabad, Oct.8 (ANI): Following the suicide attack on the UN World Food Programme building (WFP) in which three persons were killed, several foreign missions in Islamabad have issued travel advisories to their citizens.
According to sources, foreign countries, through their missions, have advised their citizens in Pakistan to restrict their movement and remain vigilant.
Interior Minister Rehman had also warned about more such attacks in near future, soon after the ghastly attack on the WFP building on Monday.
A statement issued by the Malaysian Foreign Ministry asked Malay people to avoid visiting potential target areas.
"According to the Pakistani authorities, another large-scale suicide bombing may take place and, therefore, Malaysians are advised to be more vigilant and avoid going to potential target areas," the statement said.
Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has said such terror strikes would not dent Pakistan's determination to fight against militants operating on its soil.
"The people of Pakistan are shedding the blood to make the country, the region and the world safe and free from extremist elements," The Dawn quoted Zardari, as saying during a meeting with World Food Programme Executive Director Josette Sheeran. (ANI)
