Vinod Kambli denies allegations made by housemaid which led to FIR against him

Mumbai, Aug 30 (ANI): Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli denied all allegations made by housemaid which led to FIR against him and his wife Andrea Hewitt on Sunday. Vinod said she should prove the allegations and said is willing to co-operate with police. Vinod also accused the maid of misusing his name to procure money from his own friends. Meanwhile his wife Andrea Hewitt accused her of being a drug addict and narrated an incident of the house maid taking extra money from her and not fetching Andrea’s son from his school. An FIR has been registered against Vinod Kambli and his wife for allegedly beating up their maid when she asked for salary here in Mumbai. According to police sources, Soni, who has been working as a housemaid for two years, was beaten by Kambli and his wife Andrea and was also locked in a room for three days when she asked for salary. The case has been registered in the Bandra police station against Kambli and Andrea under IPC 342, 504, 506 and 34.
