Tamil Nadu advocates protest against amendment of Advocates Act
Coimbatore, June 30 (ANI): Demanding the withdrawal of 34th amendment, advocates in Tamil Nadu staged a protest on Thursday by blocking the railway tracks. Hundreds of advocates staged a rally from court complex to Coimbatore railway station demanding immediate withdrawal of amendments to advocates act. Later they staged a Rail Roko dharna and blocked the Tata Express train while raising slogans. Protestors also demanded the step down of Chief Justice Kaul.
