Srinagar LS bypoll: PDP, NC candidates files nomination papers
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Mar 20 (ANI): National Conference (NC) patron Farooq Abdullah and ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan on Monday filed their nomination papers for Srinagar parliamentary constituency which is going to by polls on April 9. NC and Congress have already announced a pre poll alliance. National Conference is contesting for Srinagar Lok Sabha seat while Congress is contesting on for Anantnag Lok Sabha seat. As per the Election Commission notification, last date of filing nominations for Srinagar constituency has been fixed on March 21, while scrutiny of papers will be held on March 22. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 24.
