KALGIDHAR SOCIETY TURBANISES PROTEST AGAINST FIBA
Kalgidhar Society staged a unique protest at Baru Sahib against World Basketball Federation’s (FIBA) discriminatory behaviour towards Sikh players in the Indian basketball teams in China and Qatar recently. Anmol Singh, the player who was made to remove his turban at a tournament in Doha, Qatar on 20 August, participated in the protest by playing a match at Baru Sahib with his turban on.
