JNU faculty meets VC over Afzal Guru row
New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): After continuous detention of students and non-stop anti-state activities in the university premises, Jawaharlal Nehru University faculty on Saturday met the university vice-chancellor to discuss the matter. Speaking about the meeting, one of the faculty Dr. Budh Singh said the entire faculty came together to meet the V-C and demanded that the anti-national activities taking place on the campus should be put to an end. Singh added that a small group of teachers provoking the students to accomplish such acts should also be put behind the bars. Another faculty member Gautam Kumar Jha said we went to meet the V-C and demanded for stringent action against the perpetrators.
