Devotees pray for rain at Naga Sakthi Amman with 10008 flowers
Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Apr 28 (ANI): With the rise on excessive heat, water bodies in Tamil Nadu are getting dried up. Devotees had gathered for a special prayer for rain with 10008 flowers to goddess Nagasakthi Amman. An idol in Naga Sakthi Amman temple was decorated with 10008 flowers. Devotees present at the puja said, 'This puja is quite effective & they are sure that there will be good rain all around the state'.Special chants and mantras were used to impress the goddess. Many have kept an 11 day long fast, hoping that this might bring some relief.
