Deputy CM Nirmal Singh directs administration to safeguard lives of people stuck in rains
Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Apr 07 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Nirmal Singh on Friday urged the government's higher officials to work in close coordination for tackling waterlogged areas in Kashmir. The Deputy CM directed the administration to take all necessary measures to safeguard the lives of people stuck in the waterlogged areas in the valley. Nirmal Singh also directed the senior officials to monitor the situation for the next three days. A high alert has been issued throughout the state after continued rains in the valley for over three days.
