Conference on Naxalism
Noida, Aug 01 (ANI): Experts gathered for a panel discussion, Problem of Naxalism in India , at Amity University, on the suburbs of New Delhi, expressed grave concern over the spread of Naxlism in the country. They also devised plans to tackle the menace. The use of people as human shields and deployment of children by the Naxals was condemned by the panelists. The experts, however, agreed that only deploying security forces to Naxal infested areas, would deal with the problem temporarily. To root out the problem, the trust deficit between the administration and locals has to be bridged. Naxalism is the biggest internal threat to India today.
