1984 Sikh Riots: HC accepts Sajjan Kumar s plea
New Delhi, August 03 (ANI): The Delhi High Court today granted permission to former Congress Leader, Sajjan Kumar, accused in the 1984 Sikh riots case, to confront complainants who had endorsed affidavits before the G T Nanavati and Ranganath Mishra Commissions of Inquiry. Earlier on June 2nd, a lower court in New Delhi had dismissed Kumar s plea. Interacting with reporters, Kumar s counsel, Anil Kumar Sharma stressed that that he needed a chance to present before the court counter arguments on Kumar s case.
