New Delhi, Mar 22 (ANI): Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Women and Child Development Krishna Tirath will inaugurate the annual meet of adoption agencies here tomorrow. Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), an autonomous body under Ministry of Women and Child Development is mandated to regulate in-country and inter-country adoptions. To facilitate adoption of orphan, abandoned and surrendered children, central government have notified adoption guidelines. These guidelines provide that adoptions should be processed only by Govt. recognised adoption agencies. Such agencies are available all over the country.
