Indian National League is one of the major political parties in India with its large numbers of supporters from Muslim community. It is a divisional group of Indian Union of Muslim league and came in to existence in April 1993 owing to the fire of the strong Muslim leader Ibrahim Sulaiman Sait. It has two wings of mass organizations called National students league and National youth league. Indian National league has a large volume of supporters in the Indian states of Tamilnadu and West Bengal, two states with a large Muslim population. In the election both in state and parliamentary INL has made remarkable progress with both political as well as economic representation. In Tamilnadu states assembly poll in 2001 INL was an ally of DMK political party. The party as mostly followed by Indian Muslims demands special provisions for Muslims and reservations in each sector so that they can rise to the national level.
