Coonoor News: A region near the Nilgiri hills in Tamil Nadu, Conoor is known for its yield of Nilgiri tea that is also the base economy of its people. The enchanting location of this region offers an enthralling spectacle of Nilgiri hills and the western and eastern ghats incorporated with exotic ravines, lush green valleys and waterfalls. One of the famous sites in Coonoor is Sims Park, comprising a number of hills, trees, plants and a small lake frequented by tourists. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway running through this region has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.
