Patna, Apr 3 (ANI): Students of the old Art College of Patna in Bihar carved beautiful sand sculptures of various political leaders as the fight between political parties in the Lok Sabha elections intensifies.

These stunning sculptures were crafted at Golghar, one of the famous tourists spots in Patna.

Students have sculpted miniature of Parliament, election symbols of various political parties and all significant faces that will be contesting in the upcoming elections.

"We students of Art College decided to create something from sand and we made these sand sculptures. We have made Parliament along with senior leader of BJP Advani and Congress party president Sonia Gandhi. In between them, we have built a chair, which symbolizes fight for power," said Rakesh Kumar, student.

A sand sculpture requires two basic ingredients - sand and water. It can be made from all sorts of sand. To build a good sculpture, you need special sand, which can pile up.

"We have also carved sand sculptures of Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar," said Dhurup Kumar, another student. By Ajay Kumar ANI)
