London, December 19 (ANI): Madonna, who is presently locked in a bitter divorce settlement with ex-hubby Guy Ritchie, may now have more to worry about after her latest single crashed at the charts.
The Queen of Pop's 'The Christmas turkey', from her album 'Hard Candy', had limped to the 39th spot in the charts - her worst-ever single during her 24-year career.
The 'Material Girl's new track had faded away discreetly, making her single to be the first one not to make it to Top 20.
Her third single, 'Miles Away,' telling the tale of her strained relationship with former hubby, too had failed to leave its impression, reportedly leaving the ambitious singer troubled.
"This is a massive blow for Madge. Only reaching 39 in the charts is disastrous for her. Madonna is completely obsessed by her career," the Mirror quoted a source as saying.
"She has a ridiculous level of ambition and will be furious Miles Away has flopped. Apart from her kids, there's nothing else she lives for.
"Madonna is worried the divorce has damaged her career. But being second best to her work was always the problem with their relationship," the source added. (ANI)
